Map it all with mapping no regrets
I'm pleased with Google Maps. In fact, I'm generally pleased with everything Google does, but that's not the point. Give it a shot. Despite some tiling glitchiness, I don't think I'll be going back to Mapquest or Mapblast anytime soon.
Imagine if Terraserver had the slick interface introduced by Google Maps. Talk about hours of wasted time.
Now imagine if Google and Apple had a baby. It would be user-friendly and reasonably priced! (That is to say that Google's offerings are usually free and Apple's are usually expensive)

John,
There's a good deal of discussion going on about this on Slashdot here and here. Sounds like no Opera and no Safari right now.
I used to be cool with Mapblast till Microsoft bought them out. And that wasn't just out of principle. They actually made the service worse! Mapquest's directions are just plain unreliable.
Either I'm finding Google Maps to have about zero usability or it's not compatible with my Firefox. So, you look at the map and then what? Am I missing something...I feel like I should be able to click, but I can't. What is the icon in the middle of the arrows? Hmmm.
I've also been very partial to Yahoo! for everything. I've only used Google about four times ever.
